Job Description
MERGE is seeking an Account Director to lead the client services team and forge lasting relationships between clients and the agency. The Account Director will be a problem solver, working across various channels and driving results in a high-growth business. The role involves collaborating with a team, using industry expertise, and implementing ideas in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular assimilation of business, customer, and marketplace insights
- Maintaining consistent communication with client teams
- Guiding clients with strategy, ideas, trends, and thought leadership
- Creating and building relationships with clients
- Growing business by identifying additional needs and implementing solutions
- Partnering with internal teams to craft strategic creative solutions
- Managing and mentoring the account team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of account management experience at an advertising agency or similar
- Life Sciences/Pharma experience and understanding of the MLR process
- Strong background with strategic ideation, tactical activation, and financial management
- Superior professional communication and presentation skills
- Managerial experience of at least 1 direct report
