Job Description
MERGE is seeking a TechOps Support Specialist to become a cornerstone of its Technology Operations Support team. The primary mission is to deliver exceptional technical support to the agency's personnel, ensuring they have reliable and efficient technology services. The specialist will empower the team to focus on their creative and strategic work by providing a seamless tech experience.

Role involves:
  • Providing first-level technical support through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Logging and tracking support requests within a ticketing system.
  • Diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues.
  • Supporting Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Assisting with user account management.
  • Installing and configuring software.
  • Setting up and deploying hardware.
  • Contributing to the IT knowledge base.
  • Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Assisting with onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Managing and tracking IT assets.
  • Providing basic user training.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Mac and Windows Desktop Technical Support.
  • Strong working knowledge of Apple macOS and iOS hardware.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting with Google Workspace.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Conference Room technologies.
  • Experience with an ITSM tool (Freshservice, Jira, or similar).
  • Good technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
