CookUnity is seeking a People Operations Business Partner to provide HR support to employees in Chicago, Toronto, and Austin facilities. This role involves providing HR leadership to a growing workforce, ensuring a safe, productive, and inclusive work environment. The HR Business Partner will be the direct business partner to culinary, food safety, fulfillment, marketplace & logistics groups, including exempt employees and a large multi-unit hourly workforce.
Responsibilities include: - Being the HR point of contact for Operations Management Team.
- Partnering with Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Benefits, and Legal teams.
- Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements.
- Coaching business partners in performance management and talent development.
- Managing employee files and generating employment documents.
- Assisting with disciplinary actions.
- Supporting organizational change initiatives.
- Conducting exit interviews.
Requirements include: - 5+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Experience in employee relations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting hourly, front-line employee populations.
- Experience supporting Toronto operations is a plus.
- Experience working with HR systems (E.G, Rippling).
- Knowledge of employment, labor laws, and regulations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
