Senior Compliance (GSEDD) Analyst

Job Description

GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their Global Sanctions and Enhanced Due Diligence team. In this role, the analyst will provide investigative support, analyze fundraisers for fraud and money laundering, verify identities, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the payments or compliance industry and a strong understanding of AML, CTF, and KYC standards.

The role involves:

• Conducting in-depth Enhanced Due Diligence reviews.
• Evaluating fundraiser and account attributes for unusual activity.
• Managing complex compliance escalations.
• Providing email and phone support to customers.
• Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence on organizations.
• Providing SME coaching to analysts.
• Working cross-functionally with various teams.
• Partnering with Payment Service Providers.
• Collaborating with stakeholders on account queries.
• Contributing to process improvements.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in payments or compliance.
• Knowledge of global Enhanced Due Diligence, AML, CTF, sanctions, beneficial ownership requirements, and Know Your Customer standards.
• Passion for staying current on regulatory changes.
• Ability to meet deadlines while balancing different priorities.
• Strong communication skills.
• C1 English proficiency.
