Job Description
Twitch is seeking a Principal UX Designer to join their Community UX team. This role focuses on content personalization and user engagement initiatives, working closely with discovery, identity, and recommendations teams. The Principal UX Designer will lead design at a program level, collaborate with senior cross-functional partners, present work to executive leadership, and mentor junior designers. They will report directly to a Director of Design and be involved in development from project conception through execution and iteration.

Role involves:
  • Leading design strategy for content personalization and user engagement initiatives.
  • Creating designs and prototypes for presentation to execs and peers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Working with UX Research and Data Science teams.
  • Learning from streamers and viewers.
  • Shaping Twitch's design future.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional experience in user experience design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience with content personalization and discovery features.
  • Experience creating interactive prototypes for mobile platforms.
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts through storytelling.
