Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Subscription Customer Experience business and R&D functions. This role reports to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis and will leverage best practices of world-class FP&A functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in building for scale and an ability to roll up their sleeves. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to SimpliSafe's growth and provide direction to the organization.SimpliSafe embraces a hybrid work model, requiring teams to be in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.What this role involves:

• Forming trusted business partnerships with Customer Experience (CX) and R&D leadership teams.
• Identifying and delivering incremental value creation, such as cost savings and revenue growth.
• Improving budgeting and forecasting operational processes.
• Managing performance of business partners, including budget governance and monthly operating reviews.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
• Preparing monthly performance reporting packages for key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in finance roles in a subscription business within the consumer product and/or technology industry.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with budget and forecast development and profitability analyses.
• Experience with a forecasting/budgeting and reporting tool.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Team player with an exceptional work ethic.
