Ecommerce Sr Product Manager

Job Description

SimpliSafe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the evolution and optimization of their Ecommerce website. The Senior Product Manager will be instrumental in shaping the online customer journey, from initial discovery to conversion and beyond. He/She will lead cross-functional teams, translating business objectives and customer insights into impactful product features and experiences that directly contribute to SimpliSafe's growth.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of Ecommerce best practices, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making. The Senior Product Manager will be a key leader within SimpliSafe's product team, mentoring junior PMs, fostering a culture of innovation, and advocating relentlessly for the customer experience.

What this role involves:

• Defining and championing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key areas of SimpliSafe.com.
• Leading and inspiring dedicated squads of engineers, designers, and analysts.
• Developing and executing a robust A/B testing roadmap.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of SimpliSafe's customers.
• Researching, defining, and writing detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Utilizing a variety of tools to perform data analysis, uncover user insights, track performance, and inform product decisions.
• Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to Associate Product Managers and Product Managers.
• Increasing the velocity of product delivery while maintaining a high bar for quality and user experience.
• Leading and actively participating in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of experience in product management within the Ecommerce or D2C tech space.
• Extensive experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep into data.
• Experience leading and inspiring cross-functional product development teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse functional groups.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and Get Things Done.
• Deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with statistical concepts around experimental design and analysis.
