Job Description
Isar Aerospace is seeking a Legal Officer to join their Legal & Government Affairs department. The Legal Officer will collaborate with the Director Legal & Regulatory and the in-house legal team, providing legal advice across various business areas. This includes corporate governance, commercial transactions, compliance, and contract management. The role involves close collaboration with departments such as finance, commercial, technical, business development, corporate, and supply chain, helping to manage legal risks and ensure legal compliance across all company operations.

Role Involves:
  • Providing support in daily legal operations and legal advice on a wide range of legal issues.
  • Providing legal support to internal stakeholders, including in the procurement and technical departments.
  • Supporting corporate transactions, restructurings, and other strategic projects.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents and carrying out legal research.
  • Assisting in improving processes and policies for Isar Aerospace as the company grows.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with legal input in a solution-oriented and business-focused manner.
  • Contributing to and supporting compliance programs.
  • Creating awareness, presentations and documents for other departments to standardize processes and increase knowledge of legal issues/go’s and no go’s.

Requirements:
  • A full graduate degree in Law, preferably from a German university or within the German-speaking community.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Capability to understand complex issues and to provide timely and practical advice and solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Solid understanding and experience in German corporate law (Gesellschaftsrecht).
  • Ready to constantly learn and evolve.
  • Autonomous, organized, and rigorous.
  • Readiness to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong analytic abilities along with critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate both with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Open to expand beyond your primary responsibilities to work on additional legal matters.
  • Fluency in English and German.
