Job Description
Nearform is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer for a permanent, fully remote role based in Romania. The successful candidate will join Nearform's Engineering function, collaborating with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products. The role involves:
- Designing and building applications using Python.
- Supporting component design, development, and maintenance.
- Assisting with defining structured practices.
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions.
- Optimising performance in applications.
- Getting feedback from users and clients.
- Assisting with the analysis of client requirements.
- Collaborating with client teams.
Requirements:
- Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level (6+ years).
- Practical experience in an agile environment.
- Deep knowledge of the Python language and frameworks (FastAPI, Pydantic).
- Deep understanding of versioning control tools (Git).
- Testing experience at all levels.
- Experience with databases and cloud environments.
- Experience with automation, CI, and CD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
