Job Description

Decathlon is offering an internship within its AI Innovation Center of Expertise, focusing on GenAI technical research. The intern will contribute to the development of a contextual GenAI model for Decathlon's e-commerce search engine, aiming to improve customer experience and satisfaction. This role involves working on Large Language Models (LLMs) to explore and develop techniques for understanding long contexts.

Role involves:

• Exploring how to extend fixed-context LLMs to infinite-context LLMs.
• Evaluating performance using standard metrics and developing custom metrics for Decathlon's needs.
• Working on research topics such as extending the context of LLMs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of training LLMs with different loss functions.
• Mastery of different architectures, tokenizers, and chat templates.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and associated packages.
• Ability to read and understand research articles.
• A background in research is preferred (Master's in AI, PhD).
• Fluency in English and French is essential.
