Butternut Box is seeking an enthusiastic Event Manager to lead their event strategy in Wallonia. The Event Manager will play a key role in expanding the company's reach through impactful in-person experiences. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week at the WeWork Brussels office and two remote days, with travel to events.
This person will collaborate closely with the Direct Sales Manager in Wallonia and fellow Event Managers in Flanders and the Netherlands, reporting to the Head of Sales Benelux in Amsterdam.
Role involves:
- Developing an events roadmap to secure 200+ events across Wallonia
- Building strong relationships with event organisers
- Negotiating event deals
- Planning & forecasting sales performance
- Coordinating event logistics
- Securing accommodation for the event team & managing travel logistics
- Tracking KPIs, using data to refine and optimise the event strategy
- Exploring new opportunities for Direct Sales activations
- Supporting with the recruitment of French speaking Brand Ambassadors
Requirements:
- Based in Wallonia with strong local knowledge
- Excellent communicator in English & French
- Super organised and detail-focused
- Logical problem solver
- 2+ years experience in an office/project coordination role in a fast-moving environment
- Confident in Google Sheets, KPI tracking & reporting
- Strong negotiator
