iFood Pago - Especialista Contábil

The iFood team is seeking an Accounting Specialist to play a strategic and consultative role in structuring and continuously improving accounting processes. The specialist will lead initiatives that drive sustainable growth in the area. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in transactional accounting and in-depth knowledge of national regulatory practices such as COSIF. They will be a key player in accounting innovation and automation initiatives, contributing to new projects and products while ensuring standards of excellence and compliance within iFood.

This role involves:

• Coordinating the production, detailed analysis, and validation of balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, and explanatory notes.
• Supervising complex accounting reconciliation activities, ensuring rigorous control of critical financial positions.
• Managing relevant assets and liabilities strategically, focusing on core IP operations.
• Providing specialized accounting support to product, technology, and finance areas.
• Improving the use of ERPs and implementing technological enhancements to increase the productivity of the accounting area.
• Ensuring the consistency and transparency of accounting processes in partnership with internal and external auditors.
• Leading operational efficiency projects focused on automation and integration of accounting and financial systems.

Requirements include:

• Graduation in Accounting Sciences, with active CRC.
• Solid and proven experience in transactional accounting.
• In-depth practical knowledge of standards such as COSIF, IFRS, and specific BACEN regulations.
• Expertise in regulatory deliveries, including cadocs 4010, 4060, and 9010.
• Proficiency in the Office Package (with emphasis on advanced Excel) and ERP systems.
• Experience with financial data analysis, SQL, and Python for creating automations.
• Robust history of leadership in accounting process optimization projects.
