Job Description

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of data pipelines, enhancing code repositories, and collaborating with Technology and Product teams. The Senior Data Engineer will also be responsible for applying data governance best practices and translating business requirements into data engineering solutions.

Role involves:
  • Ensuring the SLA of data pipelines.
  • Maintaining and improving the code repository.
  • Collaborating with Technology and Product teams.
  • Applying data governance best practices.
  • Translating business requirements into data engineering solutions.

Requirements:
  • Experience in fintech or startup environments.
  • Experience in optimizing high-volume data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in data programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Skill in distributed and parallel data processing using tools like Spark and Databricks.
  • Competence in data orchestration and modeling with DBT and Airflow.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and modeling, including Data Mart, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and data infrastructure solutions like EC2, S3, EMR, and Lambda.
  • Experience in high data volume environments.
