Job Description

iFood, a leading Brazilian technology company in Latin America, is seeking a DBRE SR to join their team. The DBRE SR will be responsible for developing tools and solutions to facilitate the daily tasks of DBREs and DEVs, supporting and monitoring the Data Store team's technologies, and assisting developers and teams in finding the best solutions. The role requires the ability to quickly switch between contexts throughout the day.

Role Involves:

  • Developing tools and solutions for DBREs and DEVs
  • Supporting and monitoring Data Store technologies
  • Assisting developers in finding optimal solutions
  • Managing context switching efficiently

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in SQL and NoSQL SGDB, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
  • Knowledge of AWS RDS and other AWS services like EC2, EBS, ASG, ELB/NLB
  • Experience in high availability and disaster recovery environments
  • Proficiency with Linux and SQL query performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Git
