Job Description
Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Common Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for the platforms and infrastructure that form the bedrock of the Moloco Ads business. The ideal candidate will lead infrastructure projects, identify and drive platform improvements, and contribute to engineering velocity, system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. They will also collaborate with other engineers to build the best mobile advertising platform in the world.

Role involves:
  • Leading infrastructure projects, overseeing junior engineers.
  • Identifying and driving platform improvements and adoption.
  • Contributing to engineering velocity, system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Extending platforms and building tooling foundational to the company.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to build the best mobile advertising platform.

Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Excellent software development skills and fluency in at least one programming language (preferably Java, Go, or Python).
  • Experience with large scale, low latency, highly reliable systems.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Cloud platforms, both cloud specific and open source (e.g., Kubernetes, Airflow, Dataflow, Spark, Redis, BigTable, etc.).
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub, AI Tools, etc.).
  • Some experience with SRE best practices.
