Job Description
Opendoor is seeking a Director of Total Rewards to lead the direction and execution of its global compensation, benefits, and well-being programs. As a key member of the People Leadership Team, the Director will play a critical role in shaping a high-impact Total Rewards strategy that supports talent attraction, retention, and engagement across all levels of the organization. The Director will partner closely with executive stakeholders across People, Finance, Legal, and business leadership to design scalable, market-competitive, and employee-centric reward programs.Role involves:

Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, and/or Benefits, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a global, high-growth organization.
- Proven track record in building and evolving scalable compensation and benefits programs aligned with business and talent strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree and/or certifications (CCP, CBP, CEBS, SPHR) strongly preferred.
- Expertise in global rewards across diverse geographies, with a deep understanding of U.S. regulations and global compliance considerations.
- Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills; able to build and interpret complex models and reports to inform executive decision-making.
- Strategic and influential communicator, capable of engaging executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders with credibility and clarity.
- Experience leading teams through growth, change, and complexity, with a focus on mentorship, empowerment, and performance.
- A future-focused mindset, committed to equity, transparency, and building reward programs that reflect diverse, evolving employee needs.
