This role focuses on developing end-to-end onboard models for autonomous vehicles. The engineer will collaborate with a team of experts to enhance autonomous vehicle performance using real-world multimodal data.
Responsibilities:
Research and develop deep learning algorithms for perception, prediction, and planning.
Develop Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models for context-aware decision-making.
Enhance online mapping, occupancy grid, and 3D detection models.
Design and optimize efficient neural network architectures.
Develop and scale an offline machine learning infrastructure.
Deliver production-quality onboard software.
Leverage real-world datasets to train and refine driving models.
Design and analyze large-scale experiments.
Collaborate with system software engineers to deploy deep learning models.
Work cross-functionally with AI researchers and engineers.
Requirements:
MS or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on Deep Learning, AI, or related field.
Strong experience in applied deep learning.
5-7+ years of experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow.
Strong Python programming experience with software design skills.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, code optimization, and large-scale data processing.
