Industrial Maintenance Technician Specialist

Job Description

ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They specialize in industrial maintenance and strive to improve factory operations. They are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician Specialist for their North Kansas City, Missouri location.This role involves performing expert-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support on equipment and production lines. The technician will maintain in-depth technical knowledge of systems, conduct research, and program/troubleshoot complex control systems. They will also utilize predictive equipment, lead CI activities, and identify/source parts.Responsibilities:

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance.
• Provides troubleshooting support on equipment and technical support on production lines.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems.
• Utilizes predictive equipment and interprets results for analysis.
• Leads, drives and participates in CI activities.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data.
• Trains and coaches less proficient technician.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
