Central California Alliance for Health is seeking a Senior Member Services Representative. This role involves acting as a frontline customer service representative, responding to complex member issues, and participating in departmental work groups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and managed health care.
What this role involves: - Responding to complex member issues.
- Acting as a technical resource for Member Services Representatives.
- Providing assistance to members and providers primarily by phone.
- Participating in departmental work groups and special projects.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of customer service experience in member services, health care, public assistance, human services, or a call center environment.
- Two years of experience in a health care setting assisting members and/or providers with eligibility processes and guidelines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hmong) is required for positions in all Alliance service area counties, except Mariposa County, and except when assigned to the D-SNP call queue
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of managed health care principles and practices.
- Ability to de-escalate complex situations.
