Job Description
Valon Mortgage is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner II to support its operations functions in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves managing HR functions, driving HR initiatives, and aligning people programs with business objectives. The HRBP will serve as an internal consultant to people managers and senior leaders, covering performance management, coaching, work experience, and strategic advisory.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing HR efforts in Jacksonville.
- Building relationships with senior leaders.
- Acting as a liaison between employees and management.
- Managing corporate plans for compensation, benefits, and health and safety.
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Leading the compensation committee and performance review process.
- Coaching managers to anticipate and prevent employee relations issues.
- Managing discipline and termination of employees.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in Florida employment law and employee relations.
- Strong experience in organizational design and change management.
- A track record of driving people programs in performance management and compensation planning.
- Executive-level communication skills.
- 5+ years of HR experience.
- Experience managing and building teams.
