Job Description
Virtasant, a global technology company specializing in cloud optimization, is seeking a Practice Lead for FinOps & Cost Optimization. This role involves scaling Virtasant’s Cost Optimization practice, building automation platforms, and collaborating with clients to deliver solutions. The ideal candidate has FinOps experience, enterprise knowledge, and a services background.

Role involves:
  • Building and leading Virtasant’s Cost Optimization business globally
  • Defining service offerings, frameworks, methodologies, and delivery models
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of FinOps consultants and engineers
  • Engaging directly with clients to assess needs, design solutions, and drive successful project delivery
  • Leading large-scale cloud cost optimization initiatives
  • Collaborating with sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Product leadership and management of our proprietary automation platform
  • Representing Virtasant within the industry
  • Staying at the forefront of industry trends

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading FinOps or Cloud Cost Optimization practices
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of FinOps principles, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated success in pre-sales, solution design, and driving revenue growth
  • Experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale cloud cost management engagements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global, remote environment
