Job Description
Halcyon, an adaptive security platform that focuses on stopping ransomware, is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a remote-native position within a distributed global team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks related to the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and account analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial information in accordance with GAAP.
  • Record credit card activity and employee reimbursements.
  • Review bills recorded as prepaids and fixed assets.
  • Record cash activity throughout the month.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and investigate account fluctuations.
  • Perform other routine and non-routine functions as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance, with a minimum 3-4 years of G/L experience.
  • Able to work independently, as well as with a group.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have clear and thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
