Job Description
Sotheby's is seeking a Client Accounts Receivable Manager to provide exceptional client service for a portfolio of sales. The Client Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all client accounts activities from the auction through to payment and release, ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations.
    Role Involves:
  • Overseeing billing and issuing of client-related financial outputs.
  • Managing "no bid" clients and escalating requests.
  • Reconciling information to invoice sales.
  • Managing extended payment term requests.
  • Collecting outstanding client debt.
  • Managing chargebacks and payment activity reconciliations.
  • Supporting compliance-based activities.
    Requirements:
  • Degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • 4-5+ years’ related work experience.
  • Financial experience in a professional/financial services field or debt collection in an international luxury business.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of how to escalate to management appropriately.
  • Organized, methodical, and a strong team spirit.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
