Job Description

This Automation Engineering Internship is with RippleMatch's partner companies. RippleMatch partners with numerous companies seeking to hire top talent and uses an AI-powered platform to match candidates with suitable employers.

The intern will support the design, development, and testing of automated systems, working with PLCs, robotics, and control systems. They will use software and tools like Ladder Logic, SCADA systems, and HMI development tools.

This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in automation, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and stay updated with advancements in automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of automated systems and processes.
  • Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and control systems.
  • Use software and tools such as Ladder Logic, SCADA systems, and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development tools.
  • Contribute to collaborative projects.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of automation technologies, including PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with software and tools relevant to automation, such as Ladder Logic, SCADA systems, and HMI development tools.
  • Ability to assist in the design, development, and testing of automated systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with advancements in automation technologies and industry practices.
