Job Description
Daybreak Health is seeking a Clinical Consultant, either a pediatric/adolescent psychiatrist or a PMHNP with experience in California, to design their end-to-end medication management program. This project aims to ensure clinical safety, operational scalability, billing compliance, and readiness for EMR and engineering implementation. The project is expected to last 6-8 weeks, totaling 60-80 hours of work.Role involves:
- Leading the design of clinical workflows for medication management.
- Defining role-based responsibilities for prescribers, therapists, care coordinators, and admin teams.
- Developing clinical protocols for top use cases (e.g., anxiety, depression).
- Aligning all workflows with California state regulations and insurance billing practices.
- Providing documentation templates and EMR recommendations.
- Recommending follow-up cadence, safety protocols, and collaborative handoffs.
- Identifying EMR and operational requirements for engineering and EPAD teams.
- Defining success metrics and data tracking needs to support ongoing program monitoring.
Requirements:
- Board-certified pediatric or adolescent psychiatrist OR PMHNP with extensive pediatric/adolescent experience.
- Strong familiarity with California regulatory requirements for medication management.
- Deep understanding of CPT coding and documentation best practices.
- Prior experience building or operationalizing med mgmt programs preferred.
- Experience working with tech-enabled care models or digital mental health platforms a plus.
