Job Description
Instawork is seeking a Claims Manager to oversee workers' compensation, occupational accident, and liability claims. This role is crucial in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk exposures. The Claims Manager will collaborate with Legal, Trust & Safety, and support teams to implement and enhance programs, and provide recommendations to management.
Role Involves:
- Reporting, overseeing, monitoring, and investigating insurance claims.
- Supporting workers’ compensation and occupational accident claims.
- Partnering with insurance carriers to mitigate loss.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders and third parties.
- Participating in monthly claim reviews.
- Maintaining organized records of all claims.
- Providing regular updates to senior management.
- Analyzing claims data to identify trends.
- Developing, implementing, and improving scalable processes and training.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in insurance claims adjusting or management.
- Thorough knowledge of insurance laws across the United States.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze risks and exposures.
- Impeccable organizational skills.
- Detailed and process-oriented.
- Experience with marketplace risk is preferred.
