Job Description
Instawork is seeking a Claims Manager to oversee workers' compensation, occupational accident, and liability claims. This role is crucial in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk exposures. The Claims Manager will collaborate with Legal, Trust & Safety, and support teams to implement and enhance programs, and provide recommendations to management.

Role Involves:
  • Reporting, overseeing, monitoring, and investigating insurance claims.
  • Supporting workers’ compensation and occupational accident claims.
  • Partnering with insurance carriers to mitigate loss.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and third parties.
  • Participating in monthly claim reviews.
  • Maintaining organized records of all claims.
  • Providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Analyzing claims data to identify trends.
  • Developing, implementing, and improving scalable processes and training.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years in insurance claims adjusting or management.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance laws across the United States.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze risks and exposures.
  • Impeccable organizational skills.
  • Detailed and process-oriented.
  • Experience with marketplace risk is preferred.
