Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Assistant Manager for their new store opening in Newtown Square, PA. This role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing professional skills and product expertise. The Optical Assistant Manager will lead a team of Opticians, provide coaching, and consult with customers as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear.
- Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards.
- Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
- Manage a team of Opticians, providing feedback and development.
- Uphold exceptional service standards and implement retail experience programs.
- Stay updated with HR policies and promote a productive store culture.
- Support general store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years in management.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Passion for the eyewear and retail industries.
