Job Description

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor (Optical Keyholder) for their new store opening in Arlington, TX. This role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing optical skills, a friendly attitude, and product knowledge. The Optical Supervisor will assist customers with their eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and explain prescription terminology. They will also act as a keyholder, opening and closing the store and maintaining internal operations.Role Involves:

• Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
• Taking and recording measurements for eyewear.
• Adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards.
• Explaining prescription terminology to customers.
• Setting the store up for success by ensuring operational procedures are followed.
• Driving store vision and sales through excellent service.
• Leading and mentoring the optical team.
• Maintaining store systems and inventory databases.
• Fostering a positive employee culture.

Requirements:

• Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passion for the eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
