Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor (Optical Keyholder) to join their team in San Diego. This role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing optical skills, a friendly attitude, and product knowledge. The Optical Supervisor will assist customers, maintain store operations, and foster a positive work environment.

Role involves:
  • Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Taking and recording measurements and adjusting eyewear.
  • Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards.
  • Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings.
  • Setting the store up for success by ensuring all procedures are executed.
  • Driving store vision and sales through excellent service.
  • Leading and mentoring the Optical team.
  • Maintaining store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
  • Fostering a positive employee culture.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
  • Clear, effective, and professional communicator.
  • Dedicated to customer satisfaction.
  • Energetic, positive team player.
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
