Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optician to join their team in Orem, UT. The Optician will play an integral role in helping people see by providing extraordinary customer service and expertise in the company's brand and glasses. This role involves partnering with motivated, collaborative individuals and expanding one's skill set with career-advancing resources and benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs
  • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with flawless accuracy
  • Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards, customer requirements, and requests
  • Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
  • Collaborate with the team to form best practices for sales and customer service
  • Represent the brand to educate others about its values and mission

Requirements:
  • A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states)
  • Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries
  • A clear, effective, and professional communicator
  • Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
  • An energetic, positive team player
  • Extremely detail-oriented and capable of juggling responsibilities
  • Open-minded and constantly learning
  • Someone who takes their work seriously, but not themselves
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
