Job Description
Pulley is seeking a VP of Operations to join its leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic operator who thrives on building scalable systems while maintaining a high-performance culture. This role involves seamlessly moving between big-picture planning and hands-on execution, thinking in frameworks, and sharing a passion for empowering founders.Pulley is looking for someone energized by scaling a fast-growing startup while preserving the culture and agility that got them here.Role involves:
  • Partnering with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives and operational plans.
  • Designing and scaling the operations organization structure by building scalable processes, systems, and frameworks.
  • Leading quarterly and annual strategic planning processes.
  • Leading cross-functional projects, analyzing business metrics, and driving operational excellence.
  • Supporting board preparation, fundraising activities, and serving as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Making strategic resourcing decisions for when to bring in specialized external partners versus building internal capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of operations experience with 3+ years in senior leadership roles, preferably in high-growth SaaS or fintech startups.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations (50-200+ employees).
  • Deep experience in organizational operations and scalable people systems.
  • Demonstrated success leading and managing cross-functional operations teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using data to drive operational decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and operational metrics in a startup environment.
