Guidepost Montessori in Wilton is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Assistant Teacher to support a mixed-age class of Infants, Toddler, and Preschool children in a Montessori environment. The Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in children aged 0-6 years.

In this role, the Assistant Teacher will:

• Observe children closely to understand and meet their needs.
• Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters independence and concentration.
• Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child’s development.
• Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of collaboration and respect.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a school setting.
