Job Description
PatientPoint is seeking a Manager of Data and DevOps Engineers to lead their team. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure and pipelines, as well as fostering the professional growth of the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Data and DevOps engineering and be willing to work within the team.

What this role involves:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of data and DevOps engineers.
  • Defining and executing the technical roadmap for data infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  • Building and scaling a high-performing team of data engineers.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Driving team and organizational growth through recruitment and onboarding.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Developing and monitoring project timelines.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams for seamless data integration.
  • Maintaining scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines.
  • Owning and maintaining CI/CD framework and pipelines.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for the organization's data platform.
  • Overseeing the creation of automated data quality assurance processes.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in data/DevOps engineering positions.
  • 3+ years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Experience in managing cloud data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
  • Experience in implementing security best practices for data storage.
  • Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD.
  • Experience in engineering large-scale enterprise applications end-to-end.
  • Proven ability to evaluate the current technology stack and advocate for strategic enhancements.
  • Experience with modern data architecture and data transformation tooling.
  • Experience with Snowflake or Google Big Query.
  • Ensure high system availability and quick resolution of incidents.
