Smartsheet is seeking an Account Executive to join their Sales Team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is focused on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion within the Commercial territory. The Account Executive will report to the Japan Country Manager and will play a key role in achieving the company's revenue goals.
Role Involves:
- Acquiring new logos for Smartsheet and exceeding sales quotas.
- Working closely with existing and new partners (Consulting, SI, and/or resellers).
- Qualifying and prioritizing inbound leads and generating pipeline.
- Conducting discovery calls and aligning customer challenges to Smartsheet solutions.
- Managing a book of business for expansion and up-sell opportunities.
- Conducting product demonstrations and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Creating and maintaining Joint Engagement Plans.
- Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Presenting at Smartsheet seminars and trade shows.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8+ years of full sales cycle management in the SaaS space.
- Native level Japanese communication skills.
- Experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
- Experience working with Partner/Channel Account Managers.
- Experience with Solution/Consultative Selling.
- Familiarity with MEDDICC sales methodology is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with Salesforce, Docusign, Outreach, Zoominfo, Tableau and LinkedIn is an advantage
