Smartsheet, a tech company focused on empowering teams, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in Australia. This role focuses on new customer acquisition within the enterprise sector. The Account Executive will be based in Sydney or Melbourne and report to the Regional Director, Enterprise. Responsibilities:
- Selling to industry project management experts.
- Serving as the subject matter expert on Smartsheet's products and solutions.
- Presenting to senior-level executives.
- Qualifying leads and running new business sales outreach campaigns.
- Driving complex value-driven sales.
- Developing a GTM target account strategy.
- Maintaining accurate records in SalesForce and running outbound campaigns in Outreach.
- Exceeding sales targets and assigned KPIs.
- Scheduling online product demonstrations.
- Developing target account plans.
- Attending industry events.
- Ensuring customer success.
- 7+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise customers.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Background in building licensing and contractual proposals.
- Experience with RFP responses and clear communication skills.
- A value-based sales process.
- A start-up attitude and resilience.
- Experience working with solution engineering and customer success teams.
- High energy and activity.
- Experience prospecting and managing a territory.
- Passion for new technologies.
- Experience selling to project management personas (plus).
- Confidence in presenting to IT personas.
- A collaborative and sales-focused environment.
