Smartsheet is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Account Executive to drive revenue growth. The role involves expanding customer relationships within a designated region, developing strategic account plans, and ensuring customer adoption of solutions.
The Commercial Account Executive will be based in Munich, Germany and will report to a Regional Director, DACH Sales.

- Role involves:
- Building and managing a sales pipeline.
- Managing and closing complex sales cycles.
- Developing strategic account plans.
- Running high-quality discovery and aligning with customers.
- Maintaining relationships with local channel partners.
- Staying abreast of local market trends.
- Managing strategic sales motions and developing new business opportunities.
- Expanding Smartsheet brand awareness.
- Consulting with clients.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Forecasting sales opportunities and tracking KPIs.
- Leveraging Smartsheet and other sales tools.
- Requirements:
- 3+ years of successful SaaS sales experience.
- Fluency in English & German is required
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Experience with solution selling and the MEDDICC framework.
- Understanding of SaaS business models and the competitive landscape.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales productivity tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Legally eligible to work in Germany on an ongoing basis.
