Smartsheet, a global leader in Collaborative Work Management, is expanding its operations into Bulgaria and is looking for a talented Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from conception to release. He/She will participate in system architecture discussions, implements new features, and improve existing functionality. The Software Engineer will also maintain and develop service APIs, collaborate with systems engineers, and participate in quality assurance.
Initially, this position will be employed through a third-party employer, with the intention to convert to full-time employment directly with Smartsheet in H1 2025.
Role Involves:
- Contributing to the entire development lifecycle.
- Participating in system architecture discussions.
- Implementing new features and improving existing functionality.
- Maintaining and developing service APIs.
- Collaborating with systems engineers to debug infrastructure challenges.
- Participating in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution.
- Working across multiple disciplines.
Requirements:
- Experience with programming languages like Golang, Java, C, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js).
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented design and Microservice Architecture.
- Experience with scalable, high-availability applications.
- Comfort working in Linux command line environments.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis.
- Fluency in English is required.
