Smartsheet, a global leader in Collaborative Work Management, is expanding its operations in Bulgaria and seeking a Senior Software Engineer II. This role involves working on all aspects of software development and requires proficiency in at least one programming language. The position is initially through a third-party employer, with the intention to convert to full-time employment directly with Smartsheet in H1 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on all aspects of software development, including front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, and test automation.
  • Drive high standards for internal services and open-source tools.
  • Deploy services and infrastructure changes frequently.
  • Contribute to product development across ideation, customer engagement, planning, design, execution, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
  • Apply innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Define success for your team and the features you help build and ship.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang, Java, C, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails).
  • Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how things work.
