Job Description
Smartsheet, a global leader in Collaborative Work Management, is expanding its operations in Bulgaria and seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This role involves working on all areas of software development, driving high standards for internal services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position will initially be through a third-party employer, with the intention to convert to full-time employment directly with Smartsheet in H1 2025.
Role involves:
- Working on front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, and test automation.
- Driving high standards for internal services and open-source tools.
- Deploying services and infrastructure changes frequently.
- Contributing to product development across various stages.
- Collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and UX researchers.
- Mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang, Java, C, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails).
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Supportive mindset and passion for quality.
- Empathy for users.
- Growth mindset.
- Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria.
- Fluency in English.
