Smartsheet is seeking an Account Executive to join their Sales Team, focusing on Enterprise accounts in Japan. The Account Executive will be responsible for new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion. This role reports to the Japan Country Manager and is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Role involves:

  • Acquiring new logos for Smartsheet and exceeding software and services sales quotas
  • Working closely with existing and new partners.
  • Qualifying and prioritizing inbound leads and generating pipeline.
  • Conducting discovery calls and aligning customer challenges to Smartsheet solutions.
  • Managing a book of business for expansion and up-sell opportunities.
  • Conducting product demonstrations.
  • Developing account plans for strategic/key accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-12+ years full sales cycle management in SaaS.
  • Native level of Japanese (required).
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with Solution/Consultative Selling.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC sales methodology is an advantage.
