Director, Finance

Job Description

Metalab is seeking a Director of Finance to lead its accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight while supporting business growth. This role involves partnering with company leadership and the parent company's finance team to oversee the accounting function and lead financial operations.Metalab is a company that brings ideas to reality, designing, building, and shipping some of the world’s most beloved products.What this role involves:

• Leading and managing Metalab’s full-cycle accounting operations.
• Preparing and delivering financial reports.
• Owning the budgeting process.
• Leading and managing financial audit preparation.
• Supporting payroll, vendor management, and expense processes.
• Partnering with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Maintaining and evolving financial controls and internal processes.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with audit processes, internal company controls, and reporting standards.
• CPA designation preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a digital services, agency, or SaaS environment is a strong asset.
