Smartsheet is seeking a Key Account Executive to nurture, retain, and upsell to top customers. The role involves becoming a strategic partner, discovering new opportunities for mutual benefit. The Key Account Executive will develop account-specific approaches, maintain executive and IT cadence, and establish a long-term vision.
Role Involves:
- Exceeding quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas
- Executing a complex, solution-based sales process
- Prospecting and establishing executive business and IT relationships
- Developing new business opportunities
- Evangelizing Smartsheet’s value
- Curating custom offerings
- Aligning customer strategy with overall account strategies
- Collaborating with different teams
- Driving negotiations
- Forecasting sales opportunities
- Tracking sales activity using the CRM platform
Requirements:
- Demonstrated enterprise sales success
- Experience selling enterprise software
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience executing a complex strategic sales process
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Solid work ethic
- Ability to function independently and collaboratively
- Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Google apps, Tableau skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
