Job Description
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Leader (m/w/d) Project Engineering to join their team in Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This role involves leading project managers and ensuring project execution goals are met. The ideal candidate will support Simtra in its mission to provide life-changing medications to patients worldwide.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and developing the engineering team.
- Ensuring project goals (quality, timelines, costs) are achieved.
- Providing engineering and project execution expertise.
- Systematically analyzing processes for continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Ensuring qualification measures (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) are conducted.
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
- Ensuring adequate resource allocation for projects.
- Managing the creation and GMP-compliant handover of project and qualification documentation.
Requirements Include:
- A degree in Pharma, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and plant engineering project execution.
- Knowledge in freeze-drying, pure media, HVAC / cleanroom and refrigeration technology is an advantage.
- Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and projects.
- Solution-oriented and open to new ideas.
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality standards.
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
