Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator to work within the Finishing/Packaging Complex on the 3rd shift. The Machine Operator ensures maximum equipment efficiency. They contribute to a safe and productive environment. This position reports to the Finishing Supervisor.

The role involves:

• Following and executing machine operation according to SOPs and batch record instructions
• Maximizing equipment efficiency and ensuring first-pass quality
• Performing set-up, tear down, and changeover activities
• Troubleshooting machine faults and implementing solutions
• Training peers and contributing to continuous improvement

Requirements include:

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
• Visual acuity 20/20 with or without corrective vision
• Ability to pass color blind test
