Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician - Packaging to join its team. This role is crucial for supporting daily packaging operations and equipment within a pharmaceutical production environment. The Senior Maintenance Technician reports to the Automation Supervisor and works as key member of a high-performance team.
Role involves:
Performing routine and non-routine checks and electrical/mechanical repairs on packaging equipment.
Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures.
Reviewing and tracking equipment component failures and helping make recommendations for increased long-term reliability.
Maintaining appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures.
Participating in spare part analysis and inventory development.
Installing and starting up new equipment.
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED (Technical Associates degree preferred).
5+ years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment.
Preferred experience in aseptic manufacturing environment.
Preferred HVAC/welding certification.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.).
Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
May be required to stand for over 4 hours per day.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds overhead.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
