Ethos is seeking an AI Lead to drive the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for automating underwriting processes. The AI Lead will explore new data sources, refine underwriting rules using machine learning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable AI models.
- Leading the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to automate underwriting processes.
- Exploring and integrating new data sources to enhance the multi-modal underwriting information graph.
- Defining, developing, and refining underwriting rules using advanced machine learning and AI techniques.
- Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to build and deploy scalable AI models.
- Ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the AI-driven underwriting system.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply best practices to improve the system continually.
- Mentoring and guiding junior AI team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a focus on applying these technologies to real-world problems.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying AI solutions in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
- Experience with multi-modal data integration and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about how to achieve business objectives through AI.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with underwriting processes and insurance domain knowledge or related fields.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
- Publications or patents in the field of AI/ML.
