Nubank, a technology-driven financial services company, is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join its Global IT Engineering team. The engineer will be responsible for the lifecycle of connectivity infrastructure of Nubank products.

The role involves working on diverse connectivity projects, and will report to Global IT Engineering team, with day-to-day interaction with infrastructure and support engineers. The candidate should be open to adopt new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing customized solutions to support business objectives.
  • Executing High Level Design and Low Level Design for Products connectivity solutions.
  • Assisting in the development of networking architecture and Global standards.
  • Designing, building, and improving peripheral network infrastructure and platform.
  • Supporting the enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Implementing effective monitoring and robust control of solutions services.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and supporting network solutions for Nubank's products.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge in L2 (Switching) protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge in Layer 3 (Routing) protocols.
  • Ability to implement protocols and solutions for Fast Convergence, Redundancy, and high availability.
  • Solid experience configuring and implementing filtering secure protocols.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in WAN network environment.
  • Ability to implement network protocol services.
  • Knowledge of the principles of operation and configuration Data Center Spine-and-Leaf Architecture.
  • Progressive knowledge/experience managing projects.
  • Load-balancing (F5 Big-IP LTM/GTM) design experience and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortigate and PaloAlto Next Generation firewalls.
  • Functional knowledge of network management/observability tools.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Governance fundamentals.
