Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join its High-throughput Biology team. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative molecular biology protocols to solve complex biological problems. Xaira Therapeutics is an innovative biotech startup focused on leveraging AI to transform drug discovery and development.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and optimize high-throughput single-cell perturb-seq experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to troubleshoot protocols and improve workflow efficiency.
• Contribute to functional genomics technology development.
• Maintain meticulous records of experimental procedures and results.
• Present findings and updates in team meetings.

Requirements:

• B.S./M.S. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in cellular and molecular biology techniques.
• Hands-on experience with lentiviral techniques.
• Experience with single-cell sequencing or other high-throughput sequencing techniques is strongly preferred.
• Ability to design and execute experiments with a critical approach.
• Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with software tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to troubleshoot experiments independently and adapt to evolving research needs.
