Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a skilled Senior Research Associate to join their Advanced Cell Engineering team. This role focuses on induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) engineering and differentiation, contributing to advancements in iPSC-based models for high-throughput functional genomics and drug discovery. The Senior Research Associate will work closely with a team of scientists to develop and execute protocols.

Role involves:
  • Developing and optimizing iPSC engineering and differentiation protocols.
  • Executing and troubleshooting iPSC differentiation protocols.
  • Performing molecular biology techniques such as CRISPR and viral transduction.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing updates to project leads.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for assay development.
  • Contributing to lab organization and inventory management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with iPSC culture, engineering, and differentiation techniques.
  • Proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques, including CRISPR gene editing, qPCR, and flow cytometry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
