Director of Product Design

Blitz is seeking a Director of Product Design to lead the design vision for its products, focusing on mobile-first strategies and gamified user experiences. The Director will report to the VP of Product and manage a team of designers, collaborating with Product, Engineering, QA, and Data Science teams.

The Director of Product Design will be instrumental in steering the design of groundbreaking mobile activity platforms and experiences.

What this role involves:

• Driving the overall design vision for Blitz’s products.
• Spearheading the conceptualization and implementation of innovative design solutions.
• Employing a thorough understanding of user behavior and needs.
• Partnering with various teams to define goals and establish design standards.
• Crafting compelling product narratives and aligning design outputs with the Blitz brand identity.
• Enhancing and streamlining the design process to maintain efficiency.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in product design.
• Experience of leading design in tech-focused enterprises, particularly in mobile platforms and gamified systems.
• Mastery of Figma and other relevant design software.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring design teams.
• Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
• A drive to create engaging, impactful products.
